Professional Development
Professional Development is where every ATS participant begins. Before you start a certification track, you build the skills that decide whether training turns into a career: how to study and keep up with a cohort, how to show up and conduct yourself in a professional workplace, how to build a resume and cover letter, and how to handle an interview without dreading it. We also cover the practical parts people rarely get help with — communication, time management, workplace expectations, and what employers in this region actually look for. When you finish, you choose your track: Sterile Processing, Dental Assistant, Phlebotomy, or BLS/CPR.
Sterile Processing Technician
Delivered by Aseptic Technical Solutions · 12–16 weeks
Sterile Processing Technicians are the unsung heroes of every hospital and surgical center — the professionals who ensure that every surgical instrument is safe, sterile, and ready for use. It is exacting, important, and in demand. This track is taught by Aseptic Technical Solutions, a Philadelphia-area sterile processing training company operating since 2017, and prepares you for the CRCST (Certified Registered Central Service Technician) exam administered by HSPA, the Healthcare Sterile Processing Association. Training covers decontamination, sterilization methods, instrument identification, quality assurance, and department operations. Aseptic Technical Solutions issues its own certificate when you complete the course; the CRCST credential itself comes from HSPA once you pass the exam and meet its hands-on hour requirement.

12-Week Dental Assistant Program
Delivered by Coys Dental Academy · 12 weeks · Tue & Thu 6–8 PM (hybrid) + Saturday clinicals
Dental Assistants work chairside in general and specialty dental practices, preparing the operatory, passing instruments, taking impressions, and keeping patients comfortable and informed. It is a skilled, people-facing role with steady demand across the Philadelphia region. This track is Coys Dental Academy's 12-Week Dental Assistant Program in Center City Philadelphia: hybrid classes on Tuesday and Thursday evenings, in-person clinicals on Saturdays, and preparation for the DANB Radiation Health and Safety (RHS) exam. Coys Dental Academy issues its own certificate when you complete the program. Pennsylvania does not require a state license for dental assistants; expanded-function and radiology duties carry their own state requirements.

Phlebotomy Certification Prep Program
Delivered by OneStick Phlebotomy Service · 6–8 weeks
Phlebotomists collect blood samples for testing, transfusions, research, and medical procedures. It is a skilled technical role in high demand across hospitals, clinics, blood banks, and laboratories. This track is OneStick Phlebotomy Service's Certification Prep Program, which prepares you for the National Healthcareer Association (NHA) phlebotomy technician exam through hands-on practice on training arms. The certification itself is issued by NHA when you pass the exam.

BLS for Healthcare Providers
Delivered by Key of Life LLC
Basic Life Support is required for almost every patient-facing healthcare job. This track is taught by Key of Life LLC, a Philadelphia CPR and BLS training company led by an American Heart Association Certified Instructor. You practice high-quality chest compressions, rescue breaths, and AED use on manikins for adults, children, and infants, along with choking relief and team response. The BLS card is issued under the American Heart Association when you pass the course.

Every certification track is delivered by an independent training partner — Aseptic Technical Solutions, Coys Dental Academy, OneStick Phlebotomy Service, or Key of Life LLC — and that partner, or the national exam body, issues the certificate or credential. ATS Professional Development Inc. funds training and support; it does not issue certificates. Program availability is subject to cohort openings and each partner's own instructor and accreditation requirements. Expanded-function and dental radiology duties carry separate Pennsylvania requirements. Contact ATS to confirm current program availability and cohort start dates before applying.
